Sponsored by The Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) and completed at the 2023 Klang River Festival, Walking Artscapes: Seeing Urban Environments Through Performance-Making is a performance-making workshop that utilizes walking as a method to deepen our understanding of urban environments.
Through this immersive experience, participants engage with their surroundings, unraveling the intricate layers of the built environment and the cultural narratives intertwined within it. This workshop welcomed 10 participants, including practitioners and students from the fields of arts, architecture and urban planning, as well as three local practitioners with experience in creating site-specific artistic works.
